Sammie’s Story

About a year ago Sammie, our 6 year old labradoodle, underwent surgery to repair his ACL. During the days after the surgery we struggled to get him to eat. We tried all sorts of different dog foods, then we tried the FreshPet Select 'loaf'. He LOVED it! Since soft dog food is not known for being the best for dog's teeth and gums we started adding the FreshPet loaf mixed with his regular kibble. Twice a day he herds me into the kitchen and will whine while I cut the loaf and mix it with the kibble and I swear he now knows the word loaf! Sammie has had other digestion issues which we have noticed have improved since we started him on FreshPet. The only down side is that we have had a hard time finding FreshPet in stock. The local Wal-Mart carried it but has since stopped and finding it at the local grocery store is hit or miss.
