We have a 15 year old Balinese male cat. He seemed to be in a steady decline; he did not want to eat much and only drank water sparsely. He was down to under 4 pounds. We tried all sorts of different foods without success. We were very worried we would lose him. We decided to try the Freshpet Select Chicken. He has been eating this for about two months and now has a good appetite. He has gained about 4 pounds and drinks water regularly. He is much more energetic and active. I believe this food saved his life because he is on the way to a good recovery. We will be feeding this food to him for the remainder of his life. He actually asks to be fed this food.
