My 15 year old dachsund was having all kinds of gastro issues and was having trouble digesting any kind of food. He lost three pounds in 1 month. I thought I was losing him. He wasn't active at all. On a whim, I purchased the sleeve of your Freshpet chicken/turkey to try for him. I transitioned him with no problem. He loves the food and I can tell you he has gained 2 of the 3 pounds back within 2 weeks. He runs and plays like a puppy even though he can't really see well and even plays with his toys again.
