Grampa Jellybeanz’s Story

I work at an animal shelter (The Michigan Humane Society) and see hundreds of malnourished pets every day. Recently I've fostered a 17yr old underweight cat with hyperthyroid disorder. His name is Grampa Jellybeanz, and he's stolen the hearts of every person he's ever met. For months he was starving while being trapped in an abandoned office building before coming to the shelter. Due to his condition, it's very difficult for him to put on weight. For weeks in my foster care he was eating dry food as well as high concentration of canned food, which left him with loose stool. When he was switched to Freshpet about 6 weeks ago, everything started to improve. He has much more energy, his stool has firmed up, his coat looks more vibrant, and best of all he's putting on weight at a healthy rate. Last week I adopted Grampa Jellybeanz because this is where he belongs. He continues to enjoy his Freshpet twice daily and wants to thank your company for your part in helping save his life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. -Erika and Grampa Jellybeanz
