Maddie’s Story

Dr. Freshpet, Maddie is an eleven yr old "pup" that has only eaten meat most of her life, chicken breast and hamburger. It was taking a toll on her health, causing stomach issues, anal gland issues and allergies. I have tried many different dog foods over the years, but she would not eat any of them. Two weeks ago I knew I was going to have to find a food she would eat that was good for her. I went to Petsmart and told the employee all about Maddie and she stated you are going to have a hard time switching her to dog food, which I had already experienced. She went straight to the Freshpet refrigerator and pulled out the Vital grain free beef recipe and said try this. I brought it home put some out for Maddie and she ate every bit of it on the first try!!! I was amazed and still am, she has been eating it daily for 1 1/2 weeks! My only suggestion would be for a smaller bag for smaller dogs, she can't eat the 5.5 bag in the 7 day period after opening the bag. Thank you for a wonderful food, I can see such an improvement already!
