Sidney’s Story

Sidney is a 12 and a half year old miniature doxin. She has Cushing’s Disease and was just diagnosed with Diabetes this past November. About a month after her diabetes diagnosis she took a turn for the worse. She refused to eat and lost several pounds. I tried everything to get her to eat and tried several different kinds of food, but she showed no interest. It was getting to the point where I thought we were going to have to put her down. It was a Sunday morning and I was ready to make the call the next day. In a last ditch effort my husband bought one of your Vital Grain Free rolls. I cut up a serving of it with very low expectations. To my surprise she scarfed down the entire bowl. I was so happy I started to cry. It’s been 2 months now and she still eats it like the first time we gave it to her. She’s even gained back some of the weight she lost and her fur is softer. She continues to have her health issues but I truly believe your food has given us more time with her and I am forever grateful for that!
