Ella’s Story

Dear Freshpet, My Maltese, Ella had a sudden liver failure scare in 2016. Our vet gave her medicine and also suggested changing her diet and we decided to give Freshpet a try. We are happy to say in 2019, our now fourteen year old girl, Ella is doing well three years later! We believe it was mainly because of switching her to Freshpet dog food. She always had to have expensive dry dog food because of stomach sensitivities before she got sick. This has been a life changer for her. Ella loves your food and we even mix in pumpkin purée and some steamed rice, too sometimes. Thank you for making a real, healthy product to give our beloved pets. They are family and we only want the best from them. Our Ella is still thriving at fourteen years old!
