Layla Ali Holoholona’s Story

Layla Ali is my world and she just turned 6 years old on June 29th., 2018. In May of this year Layla started to experience horrible hives all over her body. After vet visits back and fourth and a bunch of money spent, I was told it was her genetics. Layla is a very sensitive girl, she is allergic to grass and has a yeast issue. So I was used to taking extreme measures with her already but the hives was a new problem. The hives went away after an allergy shot but two months later they were back again. I have lived in the same home for 6 years and nothing has changed environment wise. I began to get very overwhelmed and frustrated trying to figure out why my baby was all of a sudden experiencing these issues. I have another pup and he has been just fine so I ruled out environmental causes. The vet couldn't pin point why she was experiencing this. I was at a loss of words and money. Freshpet has saved our lives. I couldn't tell you what a difference feeding my pup this one of a kind food makes. Layla was getting hives every 8 weeks even with allergy medicine. Since I have started feeding Freshpet to her, the hives have stopped. Diet is such an important element of pet care. I always gave my dogs very healthy dry food but nothing has helped as much as changing Layla's food to Freshpet. Not only has it helped the hives, her all around health is extremely better.
