Leeloo’s Story

We’ve been feeding our dogs Freshpet for over 6 years now. I think it’s the reason our pugs have lived into their late teens. It’s helped our rescue Shih Tzu (Maggie) go from a coarse, dull coat, to a shiny, soft coat. Most importantly, it’s the only food our Pekingese (Leeloo) can eat. Due to poor breeding and unique anatomy, she’s lost all but two teeth. The vet recommended soft food, but soft, wet food gets into her nose, making it difficult to breath. We’ve found that grinding up Freshpet in a food processor creates the perfect consistency of food. She’s able to eat just as well as her sister, is a healthy weight, and has the softest coat ever!
