Pretty’s Story

Well, our story sounds like most of the other stories I read in all the letters. I have a 13yo yorkie, her name is Pretty. Something happened to her and she was throwing up and she stopped eating. I rushed her to the emergency vet and was basically told to say my goodbyes that if she didnt eat in the next 12 hours that it wasnt humane to keep her alive. The doctor gave her an anti-nausea medication and an appetite increaser. She did in fact eat that night when i brought her home...but it was human food. So, another 2 days go by and she hasn't eaten since the night i brought her home and I am devastated. I told my 2 boys that we had to say our goodbye's because if she didn't eat by the next day. The next day I took a trip to the grocery store hoping for a hail Mary. There had to be something she would eat. She had Freshpet before and LOVED it. So I figured I'd give it a shot one last time. What did I have to loose at this point? WELL, she ate it! In fact she had 3 helpings that day/night. She's been eating your food now for a week, sometimes she wants Freshpet 3 to 4 times a day. It's really a miracle. Her life gets to go on now because of Freshpet. I can't thank you guys enough for saving my dog's life. Thank you for giving me more time with my best friend. I will be forever grateful to Freshpet.
