Bruiser’s Story

Hello to all you folks at Freshpet, I just want you to know what a difference your food has made for our dog. Bruiser is a 2 1/2 year old Jack Russell terrier. He's always had a very sensitive stomach and anxiety issues. His main diet used to be brown rice, per the vet's suggestion. We would mix a small can of high quality dog food in with it, but even with the food mixed in, a lot of times he would barely eat it. I don't think he liked it too much. We finally decided to try the Freshpet with brown rice, and are so glad we did! We still mix in a small can of the other food with it, just to give it a little extra "oomph". Well, Bruiser loves it! He finishes it right away.. And now, because he is more satisfied after he eats, he is calmer. Now we always make sure we have a big roll of Freshpet in the fridge for Bruiser! Our only regret is that we can only buy it at our local Hannaford. If it were available online, we would happily order it on a regular basis. Since it needs refrigeration, we wouldn't mind paying extra for special packaging needed to send it. It would be worth it! Sincerely, Fran Johnson
