Puddles’s Story

Dear Freshpet- My family got our yorkie, Puddles, when I was 8 years old. He has always been lively and active- at only 6 pounds, he would beat my sister and I in a foot race every single day! Anyone who came to our house would remark at how he was such a good jumper (often jumping higher than our doorknobs) and still acted like a puppy. As the years passed and I began packing up for the big move to college, our family and friends started to notice Puddles was slowing down. He did not want to jump, run, or play anymore. He barely wanted to eat his food. We took him to the vet, and the she said he was slowing down because his time was approaching. We could not believe this and did not take this for an answer. My mom searched everywhere for the best new foods and supplements to help Puddles get back to feeling like his old self. After many unsuccessful trips, she ran across Freshpet. After only 5 days of eating Freshpet, Puddles completely changed! His energy and fun personality came back - he was jumping and running again! 14 year-old Puddles has eaten nothing but Freshpet for the last 4 years and is doing better than ever.
