Ponca’s Story

Dear Freshpet, I take a bunch of road trips for my job and recently my dog, Ponca, had to start traveling with me. It's a good thing I visit farm & home stores since I can bring him in to those LOL! Well, traveling really messed with his eating habits and he was eating more chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers and dog treats than he was actual dog food. When I noticed his food bowl at home sitting there day after day with uneaten food in it, I got worried. This morning when we headed out to hit the road again, I started driving around in circles in my area not wanting to go and then I finally realized what I needed to do. I Googled which Walmart had Freshpet and went in at 6:30 this morning and bought it and then went back home instead of hitting the road. Unfortunately, it's not the closest Walmart to me, but that's okay. I placed a full plate of Freshpet right out in front of Ponca. He took one of the bites off the plate, rolled it around in front of him, sniffed it, licked it and then ate it. It was on from there, he ate up the entire plate without hesitation. Thank you so much! I was obviously getting very worried about him when I drive around the Ozarks for 2-1/2 hours getting absolutely nowhere. Luckily, we can schedule ourselves for our job, so from now on we'll be hitting the road with Freshpet. Love, Victoria and Ponca
