Haylee's Story We have a 8 1/2 year old beagle. She has had stomach issues most of her life and two weeks ago, lost interest in eating in the early AM. This wasn't unusual as she would sometimes skip eating in the morning and then eat normally in the afternoon. A few days of skipping meals in the am and eating normally in the afternoon, she stopped eating altogether on day 3. It was as if she lost total interest in her dry food. She last visited the vet in late October for an upset stomach, meds, check up, blood work and X-rays which all came back normal. Before taking her for another vet visit, I went to the local food store that afternoon and purchased Freshpet. I started her on the Freshpet Chicken Roll and Roasted Chicken and Vegetables. Her appetite immediately returned to normal and if anything, I now need to worry about how fast she might be eating her food, as she cannot seem to get enough. I should also mention, her brother, Kona (a 10 1/2 yr old mini poodle) and sister, Maci (a 8 1/2 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) are now happy to be eating Freshpet too.
