Ella’s Story

Dear Freshpet, I wish I had discovered your food earlier. I had two dogs, now I am down to one. When my male Chihuahua Snickers passed away his sister and I were both very sad. Ella never really liked any food, she was so picky but when her brother passed away she became so depressed that she stopped eating completely. I took her to the vet for her updated shots and to discuss her depression. I believe she picked up a respiratory infection while she was there, she became extremely sick I thought I was going to lose her too.. Then I noticed the refrigeration unit standing at the store and I decided to try Freshpet. She started eating it, she recovered with antibiotics and rest, and she’s doing much better now. She loves Freshpet! As soon as I get the bag out she knows it’s time to eat she’s so happy. She has put weight on again and is doing well. In the meantime, she and I decided to rescue a kitten, I supplement his kitten food with Freshpet cat - he absolutely loves it. Thank you for making a great product! April, Ella and Winston
