Henley, 15 years old’s Story

March 2016 Henley was having problems with bladder leakage and excessive thirst. Our vet discovered through blood work he had elevated liver enzymes and sent us to a specialist for further testing. After a sonogram the specialist discovers what he believes is bladder cancer. Our vet gave him 4-6 months. My husband started researching. He came across websites that explained where grains can cause inflammation due to allergies. Because dogs are meat eaters by nature, trying a more natural diet was worth a try. We have also discovered the Ketogenic diet to help improve our own health. With Freshpet, we could feed both of our dogs the closest thing to what their natural diet should be...protein. Henley, now 15 years old (and his half brother Hoosier, who will be 15 in April) have dropped weight. They are now more energetic. What we once saw in Henley's eyes, cataracts, are GONE. The vet cannot believe it. We cannot believe it. We have told so many friends about our experience. I've told other customers in stores about it. Friends have their dogs on Freshpet also.
