Morgan’s Story

My sweet Morgan was diagnosed with Addisons disease which meant her Adreanal Gland was not functioning.. She was placed on meds but still didn't respond well. Later we found that Morgan's digestive tract was also not doing its job so she was put on a special gastrointestinal low fat diet. She improved but then her health was still declining. Last year we discovered Morgan also has diabetes and even with insulin her numbers were high.. While at the grocery I read the back of the package on the Freshpet bag and saw the ingredients had chicken and vegetables. No carbs, low fat and good supplemental vitamins. After 2 weeks on the Freshpet diet, Morgan is a puppy at 7 years of age. Her glucose is good, her enzymes have improved and most of all I have high hopes of a long life with a healthier baby.
