Duke’s Story

I adopted my dog Duke from a shelter. He was a 3 year old black Manchester terrier and was abused and used in dog fights. Someone even cut off his tail with a scissors. He was adopted and returned 3 times and was in the shelter for a long time. We adopted him and he was only 14 pounds and had patches of hair missing and no hair on what was left on his tail. He was allergic to every type of dog food that I tried and all it did was give him sores and more hair loss. Finding no alternatives that worked, I had to cook foods for him. It became really difficult to keep up with the shopping and the cooking. I went grocery shopping at a new location and saw freshpet in the fridge. I liked how you could see the veggies and the different ways you could purchase it. It came in rolls, kibbles, and wet food. I took a chance and tried it and was so happy with the results. Duke and my other dog Coco absolutely loved it. Duke had no more allergies and even the hair on his tail grew. It made life so easy for all of us. I hope it becomes available everywhere.
