Letter #2317

I just wanted to thank you all at Freshpet for the quality food you produce. My dog became very ill very suddenly in December, and the last six months have been awful--no doctor has really been able to diagnose him, and our lives have been taken over by medication schedules and the fear that each day is going to be the last. About a month ago, Jack, my dog, stopped eating completely, after being voraciously hungry for months. He wouldn't take anything, and I prepared myself for the end. His poop was basically water, and he grew weaker everyday. I was truly at a loss as to what to do, as I felt I couldn't just give up on him. I tried Freshpet on a friend's recommendation. He began eating regularly again, pooping real poops (!), and a bit of a skip went back in his step. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out what is wrong with my dog--begrudgingly for sure--but every dollar I spend on Freshpet makes me feel like I'm actually making a difference in his life. Thank you for whatever you are doing over there--you have helped Jack and me more then you will ever know.
