I started giving my 9 yr old schnauzer your Freshpet Select last year on a hope that it would help with his weight and health. I had always given him hard kibble since he was a pup but he would never finish his bowl. The wet food would get all clumped in his beard and didnt work either. Then last year he threw up his food after eating and his bowls changed as well. The vet confirmed his kidneys were in decline. Freshpet is definitely more expensive than his previous food but I was willing to try anything for my little boy. My vet got in touch with your company for nutritional values so she could come up with a feeding schedule to help with his weight. After just 3 months of Bowser eating your product his kidney levels were back in the normal range, he no longer was vomiting, and he had gotten some of his spunk back! ! I truly couldn't believe the 180 degree change in him. He doesn't let one nugget stick around in his bowl!!! It is now a year later and he is still loving his Freshpet as much as he did with that first bowl. I have been so pleased that I am now givingFfreshpet to our new puppy without a though of any other food for him. So thank you Freshpet for helping my dog and giving me quality time with him that just last year we were afraid he wouldnt have had.
