When my 12 year old German Shepherd died of cancer, I wondered if there was a connection between his food and the tumors. When I fed the dry food to the cats, they would sometimes scratch. I thought this was a very bad sign. The more I researched, the less I liked any dry or wet canned food. I decided to put my cats on Freshpet, and I was amazed at how their physique changed. My 6 year old Radar had been a butterball and was always hungry. On Freshpet, he settled down to 2 meals a day and lost the pudding layer. His coat is no longer matted. I recently adopted a Papillon, and she is now on the Freshpet rolls. She simply inhales Freshpet food and is gaining weight. At first I thought the food would be really expensive, but I don't really notice it on my grocery bill. My vet was very interested in Freshpet and asked where she could buy it. I hope you always make enough, because I don't want to run out! I don't mind if my pets die of old age one day, but I don't ever want to see another one of them get cancer again. Thank you for making this pet food.
