We have two rescue shih-tzus who have food issues. They have always been choosey about food. We tried premium, dry, wet, home cooked, raw....you name it we tried it. It was frustrating to say the least! Being in the pet store and out of food, I tried a small package of Freshpet food. WOW!!!! They never missed a beat. My pups are happy, we are happy, and the food is quality so we are comfortable that they are getting the nutrients they need. We have been told so many times, as we were trying to find something they would consistently, to just leave it, if they got hungry enough they'd eat it. Well, how mean is that?! Why force them to eat something they don't like just because they are starving? We would never do that to people, why do it to pets! After 4 months and countless tries, we have found something they love. The portion marks on the side help with portion control. How much easier could this get! Plus the smell of canned food was repugnant, but this is not objectable at all. Thank you so much for a quality, affordable food!
