Mojo’s Story

I had a Golden Retriever who came home as a puppy the day we got him with bad gas and an ear infection. He was eating a low cost big name brand food so I immediately switched him to a higher grade kibble and took him to the vet for his ear... only nothing workedufffdufffd_.he continued to have an infected ear and not only gas but pancreatitis. We switched him to the vet recommended brands of kibble to no avail, then special order kibble to no avail. Through much research I learned how to cook for him and the day I started cooking fresh food for him all symptoms ceased. The only thing was he was a very active 90 lb. boy eating 3 lbs. of meat per day. I would buy 90 lbs. of meat at a time and cook it all in one day so I'd have food for him for a few weeks. That's a lot of cooking!!! I did it for 3 years before I found Freshpet in the store and saw that the recipe was very similar to what I was cooking with the organ meats and all. I tried it with him and it worked! He ate Freshpet from then on and it saved me cooking sanity and I got my freezer back! Thanks Freshpet! Cobe passed from Cancer but I have a new guy who is enjoying the benefits of Freshpet and is so finicky he doesn't like anything else!
