Stevie’s Story

When I adopted a sick, 9 year old, 2-lb. Chihuahua she was given prescription dog food to help her gain weight and get healthy. She hated it and I had a hard time getting her to eat. I tried other dog foods, but she grew tired of them after a very short while. She also had no teeth after what looked like years of neglect, so this made finding a food she could eat even more difficult. I saw Freshpet one day and decided to give it a try. Her little body filled out, her fur filled in, and she became a VERY energetic and spunky little dog, even trying to chase a friend out of our house! She eventually passed away at about 13 years old (I only had her for 4 years), but I was so impressed with Freshpet that I now feed it to all of my dogs, and I recommend it to everyone I know or meet!
