My daughter first advised me about this food after she bought it for her dog. I have 2 cats. The older one is 8 years old and has been on science hill diet food for 2 years (very recommended). He wasn't losing weight, and was lethargic and unsocial. After 3 weeks on this food, he has lost 1 pound and is bright eyed and much more active and playful! My younger cat is 2 years old and would never finish his food. Since being on Freshpet, he runs to his bowl and finishes every bite before walking away. He has always been very playful, but now having his "big brother " to play with... they are both happier! I find the food at Target, and find the price ($8.49 for 2 lb) very reasonable for a quality food! And a note for those who don't think cats need veggies... both of my boys love raw greens! I've also found that the litter box has next to no odor, and there is less solid waste. Which, I believe means that they are digesting this food more completely! I LOVE FRESHPET!
